Xfre Photos was created out of frustation with iPhoto--I JUST WANT MY PHOTOS OFF OF MY IPAD! Xfer Photos runs on an iOS device and runs a web server (port 8080) that serves out all the images saved on the device. It is meant to work with 'wget --mirror' and is very stupid.

There are apps in the App Store but they cost money and I couldn't be sure of their compatibility with wget.
